A swan has been shot and killed at a nature reserve near Selby.

The bird was found on 26th November at Fiarburn Ings, an RSPB run reserve which straddles the western boundary of the Selby district. It had with injuries consistent with it having been shot with an air rifle.

Anyone who has information that could help find the persons responsible is asked to contact the police on 101, quoting 13170552894
