
Police are investigating after a cash register and its contents were stolen from a fish shop in a Selby area village.
The till was taken from Byram Fisheries on Byram Park Road in the village in the early hours of Thursday, 15 February.
Burglars kicked a hole in the shop’s door and took the till, a considerable amount of cash and several other items from inside the premises.
The till was later found empty at the end of Byram Park Road.
Officers have launched a full investigation and are urging anyone who saw anything suspicious or has any other information to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2 and ask for Tim McGreevy.
