The date has been set for Selby to go to the polls to select its replacement for outgoing MP Nigel Adams.
Polling stations across the Selby & Ainsty parliamentary constituency will open on 20th July as Prime Minister Rishi Sunak faces a test of his authority.
The by-election was triggered when Nigel Adams, a staunch ally of former Prime Minister Boris Johnson, announced his resignation and intensified the infighting at the centre of the ruling Conservative party.
