A new video has been released giving Selebians a glimpse of how the town's new leisure centre is progressing towards its spring-time opening.
The footage, released by leisure operators WLCT, depicts the town's new leisure facility as a hive of activity as construction workers rush to have the centre ready for opening day.
The release of the video comes as the centres operators have announced they are to run an hour-long facebook web chat to give future users the lowdown on the new facility. The special Q&A session takes place on Tuesday, February 10th between 3 and 4:00 PM via the centre's facebook page.
When completed, the centre will bring state-of-the-art leisure facilities to Selby including two swimming pools, a combined sauna and steam-room complex, new outdoor team-sports pitches and of course the new gym.
Construction of the £6 Million project – supported by a grant from Sport England and National Lottery funding – began in February last year and is being built by Wates Construction.
