Police have released a photo of a man they would like to speak to in relation to a late-night assault in Selby Town Centre.

The incident happened at around 3 o'clock in the early hours of Saturday, April 4th. It occurred close to the Treehouse bar, on the junction of New Lane and Gowthorpe.

The incident resulted in an assault on three local people; two men, aged 28 and 22, and one woman aged 26. A 19 year old woman was arrested in connection with the incident and received a police caution.

Police are still conducting enquiries as the look to establish the full set of circumstances that surrounded the incident.

In particular, officers would like to speak with the as-yet unidentified man shown in the picture above. They believe he will be able to help them with their enquiries.
