Police in Selby are appealing for information to help catch callous thieves who stole a pensioner's wallet from a town centre supermarket.

Their appeal relates to an incident between 12:30 on 1 o'clock on the afternoon of Friday, October 16th when the elderly victim was shopping in the Farmfoods store on Micklegate.

The stolen wallet was removed from the pensioner's shopping trolley as they shopped and later found discarded to the rear of the nearby Londesborough Hotel. Contents of the wallet had been removed and have not been located.
