Police in Selby are appealing for information following the theft of four iPhones from the a mobile phones store in Selby town centre.

Two males are being sought by officers after allegedly making off with the high-end devices from the Selby O² store at around 1:25 pm on Monday, October, 19th.

Wires securing the devices to the in-store display unit were sliced before the pair apparently fled the store with the loot.

The duo are described as white males of around 18-20 years. Both were of slim build and were around 5'10" in height.

Both males were wearing grey tracksuit bottoms, one had a grey hooded top on and one had a black jacket one. One of the males was wearing a black baseball cap.

Police are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public's assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
