Selby police are appealing for more information after a teenager was seen apparently breaking into a school shed.

The incident occurred just before 3pm on July 19th at Barlby Hill top school where CCTV recordings show a teenage male breaking into the PE shed and removing a football.

Police believe that the football was used by a group of youths who were playing football on the field opposite the school. The ball was later returned to the school by leaving it in the playground.

The person police would like to speak to with regards to the incident is described as 16 to 17 years of age and around 5 foot 8 in height. He was wearing a black zip up top and black skinny jeans at the time of the incident.

If anyone has any information that could help identify the person involved, they are asked to contact the police on 101 using reference 12160137615.
