Police warning after weekend car break-in spree

Police have warned car owners to keep their valuables out of sight after a series of break-ins at the weekend.

Three separate incidents have been reported over the last few days, with money and sat-nav equipment among items stolen.

Two of the vehicles involved had been left in town centre pub car parks at the George Inn and Malt Shovel. A third was on Longman Hills Road.

Anybody with information pertinent to the enquiries is asked to contact the police on 101.
