A woman has been airlifted to hospital after two vehicles came into collision with a pedestrian in Selby.
The woman, aged in her fifties, is understood to have suffered serious leg injuries and cuts to her head. She has been taken to Leeds General Infirmary for treatment.
Happening just before 9 o'clock this morning, the collision occurred close to the entrance of a car park on Station Road and involved a white Citroen Berlingo van and a Ford Tourneo people carrier.
The collision scene has been closed to traffic while police investigate the circumstances.
