Dryer fire destroys garage in Selby street
A fire that broke out in a tumble dryer has completely destroyed the garage where it was housed.

Firefighters were called to the property in Coupland Road after the appliance caught fire on Saturday morning. On arrival they found a garage well-alight.
It was not possible for the garage to be saved by the Fire Service who described the damage as "100%". A minor amount of fire damage was caused to a garage from an adjacent property.
Investigators have indicated that the cause of the fire is likely to have been an electrical fault in a tumble dryer kept in the garage.
