Farmer leads cattle to safety as blaze breaks out in farm buildings
Fire crews called in yesterday evening.

Fire fighters were called to tackle a burning farm building near Tadcaster last night.
Crews from Tadcaster, Acomb and York were called to the building in Bolton Percy after the alarm was raised just before 10:30.
Arriving at the scene they found the blaze inside an agricultural building measuring around 50 × 10m. The building was being used to house cattle, sillage as well as straw for bedding.
The farmer had managed to get the cattle to a place safety prior to the arrival of the first fire appliance.
The fire is now out with further inspection due to be carried out during today. A likely cause has not been released at the time of publication.
