Care and tech stolen in Whitley 2-in-1 burglary

Police in Selby have appealed for information following a so-called a two-in-one burglary in Whitley.

Intruders took a Samsung Galaxy tablet and an Oyster Double push chair and baby buggy from the home on Whitley Farm Close at around 5:30 on Sunday morning.

Adding insult to injury, the thieves took family's own car, a black Honda FR-V VTEC, to carry the haul away. The registration number of the vehicle was YY08OOG.

Detective Constable Lee Maeer, of Selby CID, said, “If you have any information which could help to identify those responsible for this theft I urge you to come forward and contact the police.

“I am also keen to speak to anyone who has seen the vehicle since the theft, or has been offered any of the stolen items, and ask them to get in touch as soon as possible.”
