Police helicopter called in to locate man following Selby 'blade' incident

Police in Selby called for air backup to locate a man wanted in connection with a disturbance in the Flaxley Road area.

Officers were called to the scene at around 9 o'clock on Friday evening to reports. Two arrests were made as the incident was brought under control.

A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray and 43-year-old man was tracked and arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article. Both have now been released on bail as enquiries continue.
