Police hunt suspected thief wanted on Euro-Warrant
North Yorkshire Police are appealing to the public for help in tracing a suspected thief who is wanted in Latvia.

Viktors Sokolovskis, 42, was arrested at York Magistrates’ Court in September 2014, after he appeared in connection with allegations of two thefts in Wheldrake, near Selby.
A European Arrest Warrant has since been issued for Sokolovskis who is wanted in Latvia on suspicion of further theft offences.
He was due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on 12 February 2015, for an extradition hearing but failed to turn up.
Officers are appealing to anyone who sees Sokolovskis or knows where he is to contact them with information. He is known to have links to York and Hull but he could be anywhere in the country.
Anyone who can help officers with their enquiries is urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101 – select option 1 – and pass information to the Force Control Room.
