Carlton tyre and rubbish fire cause believed deliberate

Arsonists are believed to be behind a large fire in Carlton yesterday.

Firefighters were called to Linwith Lane at around 9:49 yesterday morning. On arrival, they found a large amount of household rubbish and tyres burning in the open.

Crews used two hose reels and four breathing apparatus as they brought the blaze under control.
