Appeal follows Whitley attempted burglary
North Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses and information following an attempt to burgle a property in Whitley.
District
Between Friday, January 17th and 10.30am on Sunday morning, an attempt was made to break into a house on Millfields off Doncaster Road in the village.
The attempt was discovered when the owner of the home noticed that the handle to the property's rear door had been removed.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have heard or witnessed this offence taking place or seen any suspicious people or vehicles in the area over the weekend to contact them.
