Vital witness sought after Escrick A19 collision
Police investigating a minor collision in Escrick are appealing for a vital witness to come forward.

It occurred at around 6.45pm on Monday 2 December 2013, at the junction of the A19 and Skipwith Road.
The collision involved a Volvo V40 driven by a 49-year-old York woman, and a Ford Kuga, driven by a 59-year-old woman, also from York.
The woman driving the Kuga was taken to York District Hospital with minor injuries.
It is believed that a witness to the collision, who had been following the Volvo, stopped at the scene but left prior to the arrival of police officers.
Traffic Constable Martin Recchia, of the Force’s Roads Policing Group, said: “If you are the driver of the car who stopped at the scene, I urge you to contact the police straight away as you may have vital information that could help my enquiry.
“I also need to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision, and has not yet contacted the police, to do as soon as possible.”
