Public thanked after international manhunt for alleged burglar ends in Selby
North Yorkshire Police have confirmed to Selby Online that a man being hunted under a European arrest warrant has been arrested in Selby.

Piotr Hubert Rzeznik was arrested at an address in Volta Street yesterday in connection with a number of burglary and theft offences in his native Poland.
He was due to appear before Westminster Magistrates’ Court this morning.
Inspector Michelle Falkingham, of Selby Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “I would like to thank the public for their assistance in tracing Piotr Rzeznik.
“He knew he was wanted and was trying to evade the police but thanks to some of the information we received from the local community, we were able to catch up with him.”
