Police commissioner due to hold Selby surgery
Residents from across Selby District have the chance to raise concerns about crime and policing when the Police and Crime Commissioner for North Yorkshire, Julia Mulligan, holds a surgery in the town tomorrow afternoon.

The surgery will take place from 4.30pm to 6.00pm on Thursday 16 January at Selby Community Centre on Scott Road.
The surgery is part of a rolling programme across the county, where residents can talk to Commissioner Mulligan about her role, any policing or wider community safety issues.
Julia Mulligan said: “North Yorkshire is the safest place to live in England. However, statistics mean little if you’ve experienced crime or are afraid of crime.
“My principal aim is to drive down crime and anti-social behaviour yet further so that North Yorkshire residents can be safe and feel safe, protected by the most responsive service in England.
“These surgeries are an opportunity for local people to raise any individual concerns or complaints and are an important way of making sure that North Yorkshire Police is meeting the needs of the communities it serves.”
