Selby firefighters tackle M62 car fire

Firefighters from Selby were called to deal with a car on fire on the M62 near Eggborough.

The alarm was raised at around 11 o'clock on Monday morning when the car was on the west-bound carriageway of the motorway, close to junction 34.

Officers from Selby were joined by a further crew, based in Snaith, who extinguished the car using two breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet.
