Pensioner robbed on Sherburn street
A 65-year-old local man has been robbed whilst out walking in Sherburn at night.

The victim was walking along the bottom of Wolsey Croft at around 12:05 on Saturday morning. He was approached by his attacker close to the Chinese takeaway on Kirkgate.
Following his approach, the attacker proceeded to demanded money of the victim, which the he handed over.
The attacker is described as white, aged in his 20s, around 6ft tall, with a slim build. He had a grey hood tied across his face at the time of the incident and came from the direction of the nearby public house, The Swan.
Detectives investigating the robbery have appealed for anyone who may have witnessed the robbery to come forward as a matter of urgency.
