Car severely damaged in Camblesforth fail-to-stop crash
Car written of in seconds by driver who didn't face up to his actions.

Police are investigating after a late-night crash left a parked car with severe damage at the weekend.
Camblesforth resident Chris Taylor awoke on Sunday morning to find the rear-end of his Ford Focus had been rendered almost unrecognisable by the force of the collision that took place outside his home on Brigg Lane.
The crash took place sometime between midnight and 8:15 in the morning of Sunday, May 24th. The perpetrator did not stop at the scene and no contact details were left behind.
Desperate to trace the person or persons responsible, Chris has appealed to local social networking groups for any information that might reveal their identities. He said, "If, just by chance you've done this and are reading this, I beg that you have a conscience and come forward.
"I worked like a dog to buy that car and you've written it off in a matter of seconds, no doubt down to your own incompetence. Have a heart please."
The incident was reported to North Yorkshire Police who has subsequently begun an investigation.
A spokesperson for the force told The Selebian, “We are investigating a damage-only collision which happened on Brigg Lane, Camblesforth, between midnight and 8.15am on Sunday 24 May 2015.
“A light blue Ford Focus that was parked outside the owner’s address was damaged by another vehicle which did not stop at the scene.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident, including confirming who owns the other vehicle and who was driving it at the time.”
