Cawood Bridge reopens after police incident

Cawood Bridge has reopened after being closed for a time due to a police incident.

Officers were called at around 6:50 this morning when locals reported a 'distressed woman' giving cause for concern.

The road was closed in both directions over the bridge from the B1222 (Kelfield junction) to the B1223/High Street.
