Brayton incident: Man charged; due in court
A man arrested by police investigating an alleged assault in Brayton has been charged.

The 38-year-old is due to appear before York Magistrates' Court this morning, where he will face a charge of attempting to pervert the course of justice.
Police say nobody else is being sought in connection with the incident.
