Dog injured when hit by car in Leeds Road collision
Elderly man did not stop after hitting dog on busy Selby road.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a dog was injured in a collision in Selby.
The incident occurred at around 10am - 10.20am on Friday 11 September, in Leeds Road, Selby.
The dog was hit by a mint-green coloured car that was being driven by a man described as elderly. He did not stop following the collision.
The dog suffered bruising and was taken to a vet, and will require a further check-up.
