Man left with fractured cheekbone after 'brutal' station attack
A man has been left with a fractured cheekbone after he and a friend was attacked outside Selby Train Station at the Weekend.

The assault took place at around 8:15pm on Saturday evening when the pair were attacked close to the station's taxi rank.
Officers from the British Transport Police are wishing to speak with anyone who might have seen an assault.
Detective Sergeant Paul Kazimierczyk said, “This was a brutal attack, in which a 49-year-old man from Selby suffered a serious injury below the eye.
“The area around the station was very busy, so I am hopeful people out on a Saturday night saw what happened.
“I would urge anyone who knows anything about the assault to contact BTP.”
