Selby man dies after car hits wall in York crash
A Selby man has died after the car he was driving crashed in York yesterday evening.

The 53-year-old's red Vauxhall Corsa collided with a wall on whilst he was driving on Lowther Street in the city at around 6:45pm. No other vehicle was involved in the collision.
Paramedics treated the victim at the scene before he was taken, by ambulance, to York District Hospital where he sadly died. Next of kin have been informed.
Police investigating the death have appealled for information from the public and are asking for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident and have so far included an examination of the scene by specialist collision investigators.
