A19 smash causes rush-hour misery
Many will have been late to work this morning after a road traffic accident on the main arterial route between Selby and York.

The crash happened at around 8:30 on the A19, just north of Riccall.
Traffic was initially advised to avoid the area, with considerable tailbacks reported as commuters struggled to get to work.
No injuries were reported in the incident and traffic began to slowly return to normal after around 9:15.
