Riccall restaurant severely damaged by fire overnight
A restaurant in Riccall has been badly hit by fire overnight.

The fire broke out at the Spice Mill Indian restaurant on Landing Lane shortly before 4am this morning.
The three storey building is converted former windmill building, situated on the edge of the village.
North Yorkshire Fire Service told us crews from stations in both Selby and York had attended the fire along with the service's aerial platform latter, used for taller buildings.
A spokesperson for the service's Blue Watch team said the fire was "well alight" as crews arrived.
Flames had been extinguished by breakfast time this morning, but officers remain on the scene as an investigation into the fire's cause gets under way.
