Escaped prisoner 'has Selby links'

Police searching for two inmates who absconded from an open prison say one of the pair has links to Selby.

The two men, Jeremiah St.Phorose, 27, and Darrel Bryce, 31, are believed be be together after being reported missing missing from HMP Hatfield & Young Offenders Institution in Hatfield.

Both men were serving indefinite life sentences for separate offences including burglary and wounding for St Phorose, and robbery and possession of a firearm for Bryce.

 

St.Phorose, originally from Hull, has connections in Selby in North Yorkshire and East Yorkshire. 

 

Bryce is originally from Nottinghamshire and has connections in the Nottingham and Worksop areas.

A number of enquiries have already been conducted to locate the men, and officers would advise members of the public not to approach either man if seen, but to contact police immediately to enable their swift arrest and return to prison.
