Appeal after burglary at Selby store

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for information regarding a burglary that took place in the early hours of Sunday 3 July 2016 at The Two Shop Shop on Doncaster Road in Selby .

Police were called at 3.25am to reports of a silver Ford Focus pulling up outside of the shop. Three men were seen to get out of the car and smash the front door of the shop with a brick.

They gained entry to the shop, where they stole a large quantity of cigarettes, alcohol, batteries and cash from the till.

The men were then witnessed to get back into the silver Ford Focus and drive off towards the Selby by-pass.

Police are appealing to anyone who may have information which could assist the investigation or anyone who may have witnessed anything to contact them on 101, select option 2 and ask to speak to PC Julia Crossley.
