Men arrested in Sherburn diesel theft search
Three men have been arrested on suspicion of diesel theft in Sherburn.
Sherburn and South Milford
The three, all from the Goole area, were stopped at around 9:30pm yesterday evening having been spotted parked in a gateway on the A162 close to Sherburn.
After a search officers found allege a diesel container and siphoning equipment were discovered in the back of the Volkswagen Passat.
The men, aged 25, 28, and 35, remain in police custody for questioning.
