Arson likely cause of Gowthorpe shop fire
Fire fighters called to high street pawn brokers in late night drama.

Arson is being considered as a probable cause of a fire that spread to a shop on Selby's high street in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Firefighters were called to reports of a bin on fire at the rear of the Selby branch of Cash Converters at around 4:30 am on Tuesday.
On arrival crews found the fire had spread inside the rear of the Gowthorpe store and was beginning to affect a neighbouring shop.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation by North Yorkshire Fire Service however TheSelebian understands that arson is being touted as a probable cause.
