Police investigating multiple farm break-ins across Selby area
Police are investigating after a farm building in Beal was targeted by thieves on two consecutive nights.

Both break-in occurred in the early hours of Saturday and this morning. During the raids, offices attached to a farm in the village were broken in to via smashing the padlock off the door.
Police say that whilst thieves had tried to take a pressure washer from the premises they had likely been thwarted by an alarm system that was found ripped from the wall after the second attempt.
Meanwhile, a farm building in our area has also been broken into this weekend. Police were called to the farm in Balne where outbuildings had also been entered by forcing a secured padlock.
This raid occurred overnight between Friday night and yesterday morning. The burglars searched the buildings but nothing was found to have been stolen.
