Event to help local businesses get the most from the internet
Local small and medium sized firms have been invited to a free seminar to help them brush up on using the internet to drive growth in their business.

Taking place at Sherburn’s Eversley Park Centre on Friday, October 17th, the event will cover topics including everything from how to utilise social media within your business to improving your own website’s content.
The event is being organised by Superfast North Yorkshire, a partnership between communications giant BT and the County Council. BT is currently rolling-out its own fibre broadband in the across the county, aiming to reach 90 per cent of North Yorkshire’s homes and businesses by the end of the year.
Doors are set to open open at 9am for coffee and a networking opportunity with seminars running from 9.30am to 12.30pm. Limited places are available at the event, with businesses urged to register with the Superfast team on 0845 002 0021 or online at www.sfny.co.uk.
