Young boy seriously injured in Carlton collision
Police are appealing for witnesses after a child was seriously injured in a collision near Selby.

It occurred at around 5.20pm on Sunday 17 November 2013, on the A1041, between Snaith and Carlton.
The collision involved a silver Peugeot 106 travelling towards Carlton from Snaith, when it left the road.
As a result of the incident a six-year-old boy, from Camblesforth, suffered serious head injuries and was taken to Leeds General Infirmary, where he remains in a critical condition.
The driver of the car and two passengers also suffered minor injuries and were taken to Hull Royal Infirmary, where they currently remain. All three are also from Camblesforth.
Traffic Sergeant Pete Wood, of the Force’s Roads Policing Group, said: “If you witnessed the collision or saw the vehicle prior to the incident I urge you to come forward straight away, as you may have vital information that could help this investigation.”
