Infants killed in Eggborough crash named as police appeal for dashcam footage

Two young children who died in a crash on the M62 have been officially named by police.

They are two-month-old Ahmadeesaa Motara and his sister, Asmaa Motara, aged 19 months, from the West Yorkshire area.

North Yorkshire Police is preparing information for the coroner.

Investigating officers are continuing to appeal for information from motorists in the vicinity at the time of the crash. In particular, they would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the crash, saw the car in the moments leading up to it or has dashcam footage that may help their investigation.
