Sit-on mower stolen as remote farm targeted by thieves

Police are investigating following the theft of a ride-on lawn mower from a farm in Balne, near Whitley.

It was taken sometime last night from a secure brick-built shed at the isolated farm. Part of the metal bolt bracket had been broken to allow the lock to drop out.

The mower's serial number is A0222903. It is missing the drive belt and the grass box lift lever has been modified.

Also taken during the incident were a yellow petrol strimmer and two drums of petrol.
