Police appeal follows weekend break-in on Staynor

Police in the Selby area are appealing for information after a home was broken into on Staynor Hall.

The Jesse Close property was targeted overnight on Friday, 9th August when the perpetrators smashed a patio door to gain entry.

An 'untidy search' had taken place in various rooms of the home but it is not clear if anything had been taken.

Officers investigating the break-in say a black BMW X1 was seen 'acting suspiciously' in the area around the time of the incident.
