More A19 disruption during Barlby tree works

Selby motorists should expect minor delays on the A19 tomorrow, as works are carried out on trees at Barlby.

Two-way traffic lights will be in operation on the northbound approach to the new Barlby roundabout between 9:30 am and 4 pm.

The temporary restrictions will be in place while contractors cut back branches that obscure road signs.

A spokesperson for Howard Civil Engineering said, "We expect the disruption to be minimal but please factor in some extra time for your journeys, especially those collecting children from schools at the end of the day."

The A19 and Market Weighton Road and York Road will remain fully open during this period.
