Steel worth £100k stolen from Sherburn industrial estate
£100,000 worth of fabricated steel has been stolen from an industrial unit in Sherburn.
Sherburn and South Milford
Thieves entered the yard sometime overnight between the evening of Tuesday, November 19th and the following morning. They took the steel along with a large trailer in which it had been stored.
It is believed that they must have used a HGV tractor unit to move the trailer.
Officers are appealing to anyone who saw any suspicious people or vehicles in the area around the time of the incident to come forward with information.
You are also urged to get in touch if you have recently been offered a large quantity of fabricated steel for sale.
