Clean-up underway as oil spill affects Brook Street traffic

The drive home through Selby could be slower this evening after an oil spillage occurred on the A19 at Brook Street.
Police are currently attending the spill that has affected the road from the junction of The Courtney’s (on Doncaster Road) up towards Gowthorpe and beyond.
A tweet issued by North Yorkshire County Council said the clean-up was under way.
