Police probe Gowthorpe car theft

Police are investigating after a car was stolen from a location in Selby Town Centre.

The silver Vauxhall Vectra, registration number NV55 YYA, was reported stolen from Gowthorpe at around 4 o'clock yesterday morning.

Officers say a taxi was also broken into in a nearby location around the same time.
