Selby man sustains 'serious' injuries following York assault

A 21-year-old man from Selby has sustained serious facial injuries when he was assaulted on a night out in York.
The assault took place in outside the Subway store on Clifford Street between 2:30am and 2:45am on Sunday, November 8th.
Police have appealed for anyone who witnessed the incident or who has any information that could assist them in their enquiries to contact them on 101.
