Burglars flee Hambleton home with jewellery

Thieves have made off with jewellery after being disturbed mid-burglary.

Police were called at around 11 o'clock Friday night when homeowners returned to their property on Garth Drive, Hambleton.

The offenders took off and are understood to have fled from the rear of the property.
