See where they're hiding: This week's Selby speed-cam routes
Many of the locations will familiar to those who drive in and around the Selby area.
The police now explain the rationale behind how they choose their speed check sites. This is usually as the result of road fatalities, local pressure groups or routes with a higher rate or injuries amongst motorcylists.
The mobile safety cameras will be in operation at the following sites at various times over the coming week until February 17th. Cameras will not be in use all day, every day. The locations were accurate when this article was produced.
