'Vast' quantity of tools taken in Barff burglary

Police in Selby say a vast number of tools have been taken in a commercial burglary in Brayton this weekend.

Offenders broke into a container at RCG Builders, off Barff Lane, sometime between 4 o'clock on Friday evening and 7:30 yesterday morning.

The estimated value of items reported stolen is between £5,000 and £10,000.

Investigators believe entry may have been gained via fields at the rear of the site.
