Three people have sustained serious injuries after a collision between two bicycles and a motorcycle near South Milford.

The three were travelling on the route of the old A1 at around 7:30 yesterday evening, when the crash occurred.

A 45-year-old man from Normanton was was riding a black Suzuki motorcycle. The two pedal cyclists, both aged 44, are from Stokesley and Leeds.

All three were taken to Leeds General Infirmary, where their condition has been described as 'stable'.

Traffic Sergeant Paul Cording, of the Force’s Roads Policing Group, said, “If you witnessed the collision, or saw any of the vehicles involved prior to the incident, I ask that you come forward and contact the police straight away.”
