Boy remains critical following serious collision near Carlton
A 6-year-old boy is still in a critical condition in hospital after being seriously injured in a collision near Carlton last Sunday.

Police investigating the incident have renewed their appeal for a vital witness to come forward to them.
The crash occurred at around 5.20pm on Sunday, November 17th, on the A1041, near Carlton. It involved a light blue Peugeot 106 that was travelling from in the direction of Carlton from Snaith when it left the road.
An off duty nurse who arrived at the scene and treated the casualties is considered to be a vital witness by investigators. Unfortunately however, they left before giving their details to the police.
The boy who was seriously injured in was taken to Leeds General Infirmary where he remains in in a critical condition.
Traffic Sergeant Pete Wood, of the Force's Roads Policing Group, said, “If you are the nurse who administered first aid at the scene, I urge you to come forward straight away as you may have vital information that could help this investigation.
“I am also keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the Peugeot prior to the incident and has not yet contacted the police and ask that they get in touch as soon as possible.”
